I’ve heard only good stuff on the bee about James Allen but I’ve read a bunch of bad reviews about them on Yelp.

My Fiance and I got mine on James Allen! Their service is A++ So helpful and there’s no pressure like in jewelry stores. The money you’ll save is crazy too! After learning about the 4 C’s I felt like all the brick and mortar stores were trying to rip me off.

sakirby :  I helped my coworker buy his wife’s engagement ring on James Allen. It turned out to be a beautiful ring, he saved a bunch of money by not going to a brick and mortar store and they even sped up the processing so he could propose to her by a certain date.

She ended up with a princess solitaire on their pave knife edge setting in rose gold. I obviously don’t have a picture of it, but they liked the ring so much and the process was so easy that they bought both of their wedding rings from there as well.

sakirby :  Fiance got my ring from JA and it’s beautiful. He almost got ripped off buying a similar setting at Helzbergs that they wanted almost 2k for. He got it for less than $500 from JA and I liked the JA one better. He said their customer service was great and that he called after he bought the ring because a sale had started, and they refunded him the difference with no questions asked. Mine is the same setting as kelleyk8087 :,  I believe. The thin french cut pave. We only bought the setting from them and set a moissanite in it. But yes, what the other said – their diamond prices are much more affordable than brick and mortar stores.

My ring is from JA and I love it. We also bought both our wedding band from there.

sakirby :  Thank you!!! Don’t be afraid to ask them questions about certain diamonds and recommendations! They are so helpful!

futuremrss17 :  Same one!! I love have dainty it is! I don’t know you’re finger size, but mines a 4 1/2 and when they sized it down, the diamonds almost go all the way around.  My Fiance bought all my other jewelry at Helzeburg. When he mentioned he was looking at engagement rings there was no way I was letting him get it there. They are so overpriced for diamonds that arnt even certified.

Darling Husband got my ring from James Allen! I love it and he liked the process so much that we ended up getting our wedding rings from there, too.

I did most of the leg work when it came time to help my moms boyfriend pick out a ring and James Allen was so helpful and a breeze to work with. We caught their v day sale on the last day and also saved a few hundred on the setting. The setting and the diamond is amazing! I can’t recommend them enough.

kelleyk8087 :  Same! Fiance ordered the wrong size. I told him I probaby needed a 5-5.5 (I had no idea, really) and he ordered a 6.5 by mistake. We got it resized down to a 4.75 and the diamonds go probably 5/6 of the way around the band which I like so much better than just halfway!

Awesome experience with them! My order was delayed, but it was because my ring didn’t pass quality inspection the first time. They had a new wax mold made and redid the setting to better accommodate my center stone…at no cost to me.
