sakirby : I haven’t gotten it yet (hopefully soon!!) but I helped my SO pick out my pear halo on James Allen. We were quoted at $2500 more at a brick and mortar store for a lower clarity/carat stone and white gold vs platinum ring so it was a no brainer. It also appraised for $2k more than he paid. Like I said, I haven’t seen it in person yet but SO is very impressed with it. I will update with a picture when I have it!!

sakirby : I’m so excited for it! I think they’re a great blend of traditional and modern. The finger coverage you get relative to tcw is a nice bonus too

My ring is not from James Allen but I would have purchased one from them in a heartbeat! The only problem is, when we were ring shopping, we were looking for a diamond of very specific specs within a specific price range. No one had it at the time, but I kept checking back on James Allen, Blue Nile, and Brilliant Earth religiously to see if this diamond I desired had been added to any of their new inventories. Well, BE won. We put the diamond on hold the day it was posted to their site (we wanted to wait and have them send us better pictures and ASET image before we committed to purchasing). I would’ve ordered from any three of these companies. My setting it’s very simple and all three sites had settings that I would’ve been fine with. The only downside is that BE’s settings seem to be a little more pricey than the other two. Of the three, James Allen was definitely my favorite site to “window shop” for stones! I love how interactive it is and how you can view the diamonds in 360°!

Had a great experience with James Allen. They resized my engagement ring for free and swapped out the center stone for a moissanite I sent in with no issues. Both rings are JA.
