I would add some kind of green based salad as a side, and maybe a vegetarian option for the BBQ (portobello mushroom or veggie kebabs?)

YUM! I love all of the food on your menu! BBQ is so so so good.

Will you have any vegetarians, though? I might swap out the buffalo wings for a veggie passed app, so that vegetarians aren’t left grazing the fruit and veggie trays. Plus, buffalo wings are tough to eat to eat without making a mess! I would sub those out anyway.

Also, I would recommend adding some rolls (especially if you are doing BBQ– all the better to mop up any leftover sauce!)

And yes please x 100000000 on the ice cream truck! Instant way to my heart.

Yeah, I would add some kind of vegetable- salad is fine- with your main meal. I definitely wouldn’t want to just load my plate up with meat and starch. Other than that, and not knowing your options,  I think it looks good, except that I would probably have a non-meat passed app instead of meatballs (unless the wings aren’t boneless- then get rid of those. Even if your crowd is really neat with them, I wouldn’t want to stand around cocktail hour holding a plate of bones, looking for somewhere to dump them). Maybe I just don’t like meat THAT much? But I’d take a filo something or other over a meatball 10 times out of 10, especially if I know that dinner is also mostly meat.

I love the ice cream truck idea! I also love the way you included tropical fruit.

Your menu fits the season perfectly.

I agree with PP who said that adding a vegetarian option would make sense.

Not everyone likes meat.

Echoing adding a passed veggie app and a green salad to dinner.  Otherwise looks great!  Could you do boneless wings because those would probably be easier/less messy to eat.

YAY! Someone else is doing BBQ too 😀 I keep telling people thats what I want and they raise their eyebrows even though its the fancy BBQ place where I live. All that sounds awesome 😀

While I agree a veggie option is importand I don’t think you have to go of your way for it. A portabello burger might be a good option to go with the BBQ vibe. I am not a big veggie person but theyre actually really good.
