Do you have a side view of the ring? Is it possible for him to lower the gallery so it doesn’t stick out so far from your finger?

I think the wedding band alone is beautiful but I don’t like it when one band in a stack or set sticks out farther from the finger than the others (it was an issue I had with my first set, as well). If there was a way for the wedding band to be flatter, I think it would look really good with your ering.

It sounds like you already purchased this one, though?

While I like a thicker wedding band and mismatched sets, I don’t like the proportions of this band with this ring.

It would be a gorgeous eternity band to wear on its own, but paired together, it really overshadows your engagement ring.

I think the ring is completely gorgeous but it does look a bit chunky compared to your engagement ring. Some people like that chunky band look so if you do then keep it and rock it but if you want it to match your engagement ring more then I’d do slightly slimmer.

I think the depth of the band is what throws off the look.

I quite like the look of a thicker wedding band, but only when the bands are equal depth, so the edges line up.

When the wedding band sticks out a lot more, it looks disproportionate to me.

These bands are wider, but the same depth:

Your band has a lot of space on either side, which makes it look less cohesive as a set. I don’t know if this is what is throwing off the look for you, but it’s something that would personally bother me. I think you would need to go with a smaller stone size for the wedding band to get it to be the same or more similar depth to your engagement ring, if this is what is bothering you.

I personally think it is way too much and takes away from your e ring
