Our guest list is around 75 people, including kids, but because our wedding is on a weekeday (Thursday) and many guests are out of town, we’re thinking that the count will be much less.

I voted under 25. My husband and I had a quickie wedding at the county clerk’s, just the two of us. I guess that counts as an extra-small wedding, ha! Before we decided to do that, though, we were thinking of having a more “normal” wedding with 40 people, which I’d consider medium-sized. I’m always baffled when I hear someone mention their “small” ~70 person wedding – when my husband and I were making a hypothetical guest list, we couldn’t even think of that many people to invite!

bell616:  Under 50 sounds small to me but I love smaller weddings – so intimate and romantic.

craigslistgirl:  I agree with you about having some guest that your not close with when you reach the 100 + mark. My Honey is inviting so many people that I am not close to but he is. I am going to make our day as intimate as possible. I know we always invite more people and usually less show up.
