letsdothis2016:  you could float the number on water in a votive. It could be a wood square written in calligraphy, etched in an unlit candle,  burned in leather,  whatever

Could you use an acrylic box and place the number inside?

If you’re using table runners you could out the number on those. It would probably work on a table cloth as well. Pic below.

but I would be inclined to select a modern table number and place it at the end of each table.

style example first pic and placement I mean demonstrated in second pic

Google acrylic photo frame. Something like this would work nicely

In the middle; I think a rectangular shape would work well.

That is a challenge! Normally, table numbers are taller to help guests to fiind them, but a traditional wire holder or a Tolsby frame would obstruct the view of the rest of your centerpiece.

Off the top of my head, I would find another square vase that is the same width but slightly taller. Turn it up side down and paint the number on the bottom or glue on a diecut.

 I’ve done some more thinking

You might be able to find a stand alone number and place it in front of the vases- it could be painted wood, acrylic or metal

you could stack acrylic photo cubes

a pin frame toy would be very modern

a DIY- paint a block of wood the same size as your vases and add house numbers

letsdothis2016:  Ah, I was hoping you would like the pin frame. I think it is so cool.
