My first thought was Crispin Glover. It’s not my favorite name ever but I think it’s so much better than a lot of these popular names now, like all the “_adyn” ones.

I’ve actually only seen it as a last name.

I know someone with this name. He calls himself Chris and his nickname is Chip. Just don’t do it.

Coming from a mother of 3 …cute names are fun for babies!

But not grown adults  I’m not a fan of the name Crispin personally I I thi think classic names are the best for a child who will one day be an adult

Possibly a cute name for a dog though or a cat

Crispin sounds like a yummy snack or an elf.

It may be misconstrued as someone inaccurately pronouncing Christian or Kristin.

I thought “crispy” followed by a reminder of how hungry I am and should stop being lazy and heat up some food 😂 sorry OP, not a fan!

My first thought was the bad guy in kindergarten cop. After double checking, his name was Crisp

If you want my honesty, this is almost as bad as my friend naming her daughter “Puff” – it’s not a name to take lightly, and people will call Crispin “Crispy Crispin” until the day he dies. Kids are cruel.

Puff makes me more mad though.

I know two Crispian’s so see it and think “huh, they mis-spelled Crispian”.  (Although, I have to concede, looks like Crispin is the more orthodox spelling!! I’m a product of my experiences though haha)
