(Closed) thoughts on welcome cookout

I am doing a destination wedding there too!!!! Smile  what do you think of a  surf and turf type thing? like season some shrimp and put them on skewers and some steaks? I think that would be perfect considering your location.

Do you have budget parameters?  Assuming you do . . .

Burgers

Chicken

Veggie skewers (so the vegans don’t complain, lol)

one leafy salad

one starch salad (like pasta or potato)

baked beans, chili, gumbo, or another giant pot of something hot

beer and wine

an ice cream cart

Did you want more specific suggestions?  I’m getting hungry.

We are doing burgers just like grandma use to make them (but gluten free) with buns (Gluten free and regular options).

Macaronie salad (again grandmas recipe)

quinoa salad (gluten free)

Asian salad (from costco)

Im forgeting a salad for some reason

 

Veggie plates with dip

Fruit plate with dip

Cheese plate

Pickle plate

condiments including some spicy mayonaise and home made ketchup and homemade red pepper jelly and home made BBQ sauce

 

Chocolat chip pecan cookies (gluten free already made and in the freezer)

individual cup triffle (gluten free again)

theres another sweet but I cant remember

 

OK while typing this I started having a little freakout I cant find my wedding inspiration/notebook I hope its in the car.

 

We are serving 3 types of juices along with water

Local wine 

Beer from back home

 

I think thats it. wow
