I wish you had started this sooner!  I’m due in February, and I have a 9 month old.  It’s totally different this time around!  I don’t think I’ve bought anything for the new baby…I’ll get around to it after Christmas.  With my first, I would have been in full on panic mode right now.

I am TOTALLY exhausted carrying around two babies all the time.  I don’t know how mothers with twins (or more!) do it.  Sometimes, I sit in the house, think about how much work it will be to get Dirty Delete ready to go to the store, and then walk her around while she kicks my stomach and the baby kicks back…

And I just order sandwiches instead ๐Ÿ™

I will be following this! DS turns one in 10 days and we are ttc for #2 right now. Not pregnant yet but would love to hear from others how they manage with two especially if the first is still a toddler! I’m very nervous about this!

Yea so excited for this thread!  The second time around definitely does seem different than me. I  am having qnother girl this time around so I really haven’t done much yet because we kept alot of  clothes and items. Due in March and the biggest stressor I am having is how will my Dirty Delete deal with having a  new baby in the house.

Yeah I do feel out of place sometimes too, after you’ve been through your first pregnancy the bump pics and planning a nursery don’t seem so exciting anymore. But on the upside with having done this comes wisdom and knowing our bodies can do this, we’ve been without sleep before and we know the drill ๐Ÿ™‚

I think we need to start actively posting here. Maybe do a little roll call thing-a-ma-bob??  Would love to see how this pregnancy is different from their previous pregnancy/pregnancies.

Second pregnancy here!  I hate to agree, but I also feel kind of out of place with the other boards.  Seeing how we know what is normal or not, etc.  I am due July 21 which is 5 days before my DS’s birthday!  It will be a busy summer as DS will start 2nd grade in August.

I’m back and can actually participate now, I just found out I’m pregnant and due in September.

Funny how pregnancies can be different. This time, I really felt I was pregnant right away, recognizing all the symptoms. Also, I’m way less stressed out about stuff, like the other day I had stomach cramps and after I tested, Darling Husband was like, oh but these cramps can’t be good then… I wasn’t nervous about them at all. I guess I can feel what is normal now.

also, in my case, labor #1 was hell, and this time I know it will be a c-section. Takes a lot of stress away.

what makes me more nervous is how to deal with two babies at once, and also recovering my body this time around. Oh, and also dealing with work.. I’ll have to tell them I’m pregnant and going on leave just as I get back from my first leave.. Touchy…
