You need the center and side stones to sit up higher for a band to sit flush with them. This is my three stone ring with a wedding band that sits flush against it.

I have the Brilliant Earth Melody ring, it’s raised up a bit so any band should fit flush. I’ve already tried on a few bands and they fit perfectly.

My engagement ring is exactly what you’re looking for (and I absolutely adore the style!!) but I chose a custom contour band to go with it so they would fit together perfectly!

Here’s a photo of my wedding set and then I flipped my band around so you could see it with a plain straight band. Hope these help ☺️

If you’re buying a setting separately, look for ‘WedFit’ ones – they are designed to sit a little higher, so a band will fit. Good luck! Pear/teardrop side stones sound lovely!

You could have the diamond you already have set into a solitaire and then have a wrap made to fit. I had my wrap made and it gives the three stone look and sits pretty flush with my bands.

So, my center stone is smaller than yours and I think that can matter when it comes to how flush a band can sit. However, my stones are high enough that my band mostly sits flush. Center is about a 1/2 ct, not sure the size of the side stones. Both bands are 2mm knife edge. I love the look of three stones with a plain band — so classic!

I have several wraps and bands because I like to change it up depending on my mood

If you would like matching old mine cut stones to make a 3 stone, this vendor is excellent at finding exactly what you need and making you a ring.

I had mine designed to work with most bands, without being too high.
