Hello friends,
My boyfriend and I are looking at rings that would incorporate family stones (we have 3). The two side ones would be .75 each. My ring size is 4.5. I’ve had mized feedback about side stones that large. I was hoping others could post pictures of their rings that have side stones larger than .7 each, especially if you have smaller fingers. We are trying to figure how it would look on my finger and if there’s any point to getting a more intricate side to the ring (as mixed feedback on if you would even see it or not). Thanks – please post pictures with ring size and carat size as well.
Thanks again!!! looking forward to seeing all your beautiful rings

This is a moissanite three stone with 1.5ct centre and .75ct sides.
It is sized as a 5.5 for my right ring finger where I usually wear it, but I have some pics of it on my left (a 5).
I find it a bit big for my left with that size sidestones at times for day to day, but you may feel differently. It does cover right across the top of my left finger.
I love the proportions of it though!
The profile of a ring is important to me, I see the side a lot! But if you mean the sides on shank, likely the details would be hidden between your fingers.

wondering12345 : My finger is a size 3.5. I have two 0.5 c diamonds and a 1.3ish c sapphire and the rocks appear to all be the same size. It looks good to me and fits nicely on the finger.
The issue isn’t carat, which is a measure of weight, it’s about diameter. Mine ends up just being perfect on my finger. Would yours hang on the sides?

Such beautiful rings! I was disappointed yesterday when I went to a jeweler and was encouraged to use the larger side stones as earings instead of with the ring. But you have larger stones and the rings look lovely and interesting. I was just really discouraged.
i’m not sure what size the middle stone is as he is keeping it a secret. And, yes, I think I meant side as in shoulder/shank. Initially we were looking at woven shanks but now, it doesn’t seem necessary. I think I need to figure out the sides of the mounting now too. @RayKay, i like yours a lot.

Just keep in mind that it will be quite large on your finger. If you want to wear it daily, that might not be an option for some types of jobs. However, if you have an office job, then go for it!
