I don’t think they’re too popular at the moment.  It seems like the most popular rings I see right now are pave halos, pave solitaires, and standard solitaires.

I don’t have a 3-stone, but this is one of my favorite rings ever from a girl on the Better Than Diamond boards.  3 stone moissy OEC.

I feel like i have seen MORE 3 stone rings than anything else… I have barely seen any halo’s in person at all!  Mine was a solitaire and that seemed almost rare… then I added my enhancer to make it almost 3 stone-like

@Missus_LLC:  The center stone is a tad over 2 carats.

Just got this baby this weekend! Didn’t think I would like a three stone, but good heavens it’s gorgeous!

@Missus_LLC:  My original ring was a 3 stone but it was lost. It had 3 round stones, peek a boo diamonds & side baguettes and was 1/2ctw.

I see them a lot in my area.

I don’t have any more photos of when I had my 3 stone ring (I recently had the diamond reset into a halo setting) but when I got it back in 2005 they were very popular.  I still see a lot of them around me.

@Missus_LLC:  What part of Cali are you in? I’m in IE… I see a lot around here. I used to work in Beverly Hills and didn’t see any there.
