This looks lovely.  Why would you think it violated etiquette?

Beautiful gown!  You do know 40 is the new 30 right?  So, it’s all good!

If it’s an age thing, I still think that dress is totally fine! It’s very sophisticated and elegant, but fun and youthful at the same time. You can’t go wrong with it!

Thank god! I see nothing wrong with selecting the dress you love. I’ve been a bit puzzled/miffed by brides thinking that they are limited to gowns that fall into the “mature” category. Whatever! I love your dress and I’m sure you’ll knock it out of the park. Smile

That being said, I was looking at Mother-Of-The-Bride/Groom dresses and quite frankly, I believe that my bridesmaids would look better in some of them than in traditional bridesmaids dresses. Three out of four are busty and two are full figured, and one of them could wear anything and be comfortable in it.

You should totally wear what you want on your wedding day! Who says just because you’re not in your 20s you can’t be sexy on your wedding day?!? GO FOR IT! 🙂

If you got the bod to rock it, rock it and don’t look back!

As long as you don’t go down the aisle nekkid, it’s all good on the decorum front.
