Wow, and I thought my $100 thrift store dress was a find! $40- what a great bargain, fellow thrifter! 🙂 It’s a very dreamy dress, and it looks good on you. I wouldn’t change too much about it, but some champagne color would definitely look lovely!

WaltzDreams:  that is wonderful! you look amazing

amyleannej:   I also have an $80 thrifts dress that I am in the middle of altering. I think you will easily be able to transform your dress into your vision! I cannot wait to see what you do!

amyleannej:  Your dress is amazing!!! And the price tag is awesome 🙂

I got my wedding dress at a consignment shop! It was a little bit more expensive though ($160).

amyleannej:  Thank you, I hadn’t either. My Maid/Matron of Honor actually had to talk me into trying it on.I am so grateful she did. I think it looks better on my skintone than a pure white gown.

 justjade:  Thanks.

I have a champagne mermaid dress that I was planning on cutting the neck line to a deep V and just add lace over it. My seemstress says it is a good idea. I am trying to lighten up the champagne which is opposite of what u are doing. So u can have a darker top with lighter skirt. Or the other way around. A sparkly belt would look nice too. yiu would have a one of a kind, which is very cool!
