Aveeno Baby Lotion was my FAVORITE gift that I got… it’s the best.

Infant tylenol

Baby Orajel

Baby wash cloths <— wet & in the freezer make the best “teething rings”

bibs with BACKING <– lotsa parents just register for the cute cloth ones

That’s all I can think of at the moment… my baby hasn’t been a baby for almost 6 years lol

@UpstateCait:

Johnson’s bedtime bath is awesome. It comes in a purple bottle and is supposed to help relax baby before bed with the lavender smell. They make a bedtime lotion too. Not bathtime related but the Fisher Price seahorse is also great. It glows and plays bedtime music that slowly fades. My daughter used to go to bed with that every night. At 2 she still loves it but its just more of a friend now. You can’t have too many of the cute hooded towels, get the larger ones. They outgrow the tiny baby ones within months and my daughter still uses her larger ones.

Also gas drops! Newborns frequently have gas issues, Little Tummys brand is a good one.

Stuff I use a lot are thermometer, nail files – we were told to use this instead of clippers on her fingernails and it works really well, thin wash cloths, diaper rash cream is nice to have on hand, small spray bottle – works well for cleaning off their bum.

Definitely this! I’m a stickler for healthy teeth and this is actually on my registry.LOL It’s for 6 to 12 months, so she’ll be ableto use it later.

We did this for a girlfriend of mine at work and we also threw in a Starbucks card for when Mommy needs a caffeine pick-me-up… 😉

We got a ton of bibs and a million washcloths, so I would stay away from those if possible.

Little things we wanted/needed are: Night lights, safety things like outlet covers, baby laundry bag (to put tiny socks and things in so they don’t get lost), nasal aspirator, butt paste, cotton swabs and balls, memory book, hangers, meds and grooming kit.
