I just read this article here. Talk about Murphy’s Law! It must have been heart-wrenching to have planned an elaborate, unique wedding only for it to backfire and leave you in the hospital. Just wanted to share this with the hive and give a heads up to any brides (and/or grooms) who may have been dreaming of an aircraft bouquet toss but are sad that s/he can’t afford it. All kidding aside, thank GOD nobody was permanently injured! Are any of you planning a fancy, out-of-the-ordinary bouquet toss? If so, share it here!

I read that article on AOL or Yahoo, I think, and it said the bride and groom had already left by that point! The person who threw the bouquet wasn’t the bride! Seriously, small aircrafts and other airbourne objects do not mix.

Um, wow. See, it really surprrises me that people can’t figure out ahead of time an idea like that might end badly!

I agree that they should have thought about that. But kuddos for trying to be different. I really like it when people do different and fun things but with a happy ending!

would a hot air balloon have been any safer? or maybe a bucket truck.
