@MmeSilverBullet:  That is the worst/dumbest decor idea I’ve ever heard. I shook my head the first time I saw that pin. Why the fuck would you put GLUE on a WALL?! You will NEVER get it off. Hardware stores sell glitter that you can put into paint (and hey, they’ll mix it for you, too), although I know Lowe’s charges and arm and a leg to do it ($50 a gallon or something ridiculous, if I remember right).

Hm, Pinterest fails. No pictures, but we’ve made some recipes that have been effing awful. “World’s best pumpkin muffins” were gross (flavorless and very dense), chicken and dumplings recipe was shite (flavorless), spicy chicken rigatoni (Bucca di Beppo dupe, which we don’t have around here, so we had no idea what it would taste like) was so spicy that neither of us could eat it.

@MmeSilverBullet:  Oh my god, seriously. There was NO indication that it was THAT spicy, and I love spicy food! We ended up cutting the red pepper flakes down by so much and it was finally edible.

@MmeSilverBullet: I think that big slice should be “women planning their wedding even though they aren’t even enagaged…or have a bf”

I decided I wanted to replicate this in our big picture window in our living room this Christmas.  We have cats that like to sit in our window to I made sure to not have the decor hang down quite so much….however the cats still managed to knock most of the christmas balls down.  I wish I would have taken a picture of it now.  It looked so good before.  And after there was like one lone ball high up that they couldn’t reach.

I also tried this with our stockings because we don’t have a place to really hang them.  Yeah same effect, cats tore them up lol.  Luckily the stockings were just cheap Walmart ones, we were waiting until we moved into a bigger house to buy stockings we would keep forever.

@MmeSilverBullet:  I remember coming home from work and there were all these balls and string laying all over the living room.  I’m just glad after we got the cats I was smart enough to switch to plastic balls.  I was mad but at the same time I can’t blame the cats.  The probably thought “Hey she put up a bunch of toys for us” lol.  I look back and laugh now.

This next year I’m going to try it again…only maybe in the kitchen window where they don’t get to.

@MmeSilverBullet:  I don’t have pictures, but I once tried out an Asian marinated chicken recipe from Pinterest.

While all of the liquid measurements were normal (i.e., 1/4 cup), the weight of the chicken was in grams instead of ounces! Stupid me decided to just ignore it and make the amount of chicken I wanted to make without adjusting the liquid measurements.

It ended up being so salty because I didn’t decrease the amount of soy sauce! I felt like I was just dumping a salt shaker down my throat.
