I think it’s all about perspective, as long as none of your events are messed up or you have backup plans it should be fine. It’s supposed to be good luck anyways!

It’s a freee riiiiideeee… when you’ve already paid! Sorry.. Alanis moment!

Your wedding will be awesome! Rain will absolutely not spoil it. Some of the most gorgeous pictures I’ve seen are the happy couple in the rain with a bright coloured umbrella. Think of it as a metaphor: in this crazy and sometimes scary world we live in, where there is love there is still joy and happiness ๐Ÿ™‚

You are going to have an AMAZING day. Not even mother nature can take that away from you ๐Ÿ™‚

It will change so many times by the day of, and even the day before will not 100% guarantee that you will know what the weather is like. Unless you haven’t planned for rain at all and you need to create a rain plan, just ignore it.

At 10 days out, my weather report said 0% chance of rain, 78 degrees, with no chance of rain for two days in either direction. My Maid/Matron of Honor texted me telling me “well, there’s a chance the weather will be okay” four days out, because it had changed to 50% chance of thunderstorms! On the day of the wedding, it was foggy in the morning, and hot and humid, but no rain ended up coming. All that happened was I worried about it for a week!

Hopefully it won’t rain….weather reports are never right (especially now when there’s still time for it to change!) and if it does change..just remember..they say that if it rains on your wedding day its a good omen!

You deal with it and go on. It rained on my wedding day. My outdoor ceremony was moved inside and my reception still occurred under a tent. My shoes got muddy but in the end what matters is that we got married.

It rained on my wedding day!! I got married at the beach and when I arrived early for my first look and photos it was raining! Me and my mom used and umbrella and trecked down to the beach, thankfully it stopped and we were able to get some good pictures and have the ceremony! You just have to roll with things, I was out on the beach in all of the elements: windy, rain, in the sand/dirt, but I rolled with it and everything turned out perfect!

@peachbaby4008:  I was the same way. Unfortunately for me the weather didn’t change, like everybody said it could. The rain held off long enough for us to have our ceremony outside and the reception inside. On the day, the rain didn’t bother me at all. I’m glad I wasn’t squinting to see in pictures, I wasn’t sweating from the sun and it was super cute of my Darling Husband to walk around holding an umbrella over me ๐Ÿ˜‰

I can’t wait to see the pics of my day! I’m sure everything will work out for you ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m totally in the same boat – it’s calling for 40% chance of showers on my wedding day, with 10-20% chance on the day of.

Your wedding is a week and a half away and weather prediction is pretty inaccurate that far out.  I’ll have my fingers crossed for you!
