My wedding is less than 2 weeks away and I am trying to get all the logistical “stuff” figured out. I’m not going to lie, it’s not fun!!
So my question to the hive is this:
we are having ushers to greet and seat our guests. if the ceremony starts at 430 pm what time should the ushers show up to seat people? I was thinking 4 pm. Does that sound right?

My ceremony was 4:30 and I had the guests seated from 4 to 4:20. It was timed nicely so they didn’t get bored sitting there too long.

Definitely no earlier than 4pm. Like pp said, you don’t want people to get bored waiting around. It’s nice for people to be able to mingle freely for a bit. I didn’t have ushers, and my wedding was at 330pm. I looked out the window at 3:20, and no one was sitting down. I had to send my aunt out to get everyone to sit, and it all worked out fine.

4pm will totally suffice!

4 PM is good. I know I usually don’t show up until, like 10 minutes before a wedding.
