We got a puppy! She’s quite the distraction!!!

We’d actually been planning to get her for about a year, she was not a product of our TTC woes; but she does make a great distraction! πŸ™‚

I love beagles so much πŸ™‚

i distract myself by reading LOTS of books and making myself learn a new difficult recipe every week.

And when that fails I watch netflix. Currently binge watching parenthood

Ive found that working out doesn’t distract me from TTC at all. but I guess I should probably do it anyway haha

I actually like the TWW now!  I used to find it long and stressful, but now I like it as I can finally relax and see what happens.  For me personally, I have irregular cycles so trying to figure out when I’m going to ovulate, trying to BD enough, and confirming ovulation are far more stressful.

Arae83:  I agree!  Once you’re finally in the TWW, the pressure of trying to get timing right and everything is done.  It’s more relaxing – well, kinda. Once I get close to the end of it, I’m getting antsy again cause I just want to test!

PonytailKim:  Not in the TWW yet (on CD26 and this MIGHT be O?), but I look for new recipes or projects on Pinterest to try. This cycle, DH and I are going to Niagara Falls on a 2.5 year anniversary trip!

15th TTC cycle here with regular, textbook cycles.  For the last 2 cycles, I just gave up caring.  I don’t care to know what CD it is, I don’t care to know when I O, I don’t care to look at a chart and see that we timed BD perfectly, and still have no luck.  I found that it was incredibly frustrating, and not knowing these things really reduced my stress.  Heck, I just realized this morning that I should have AF tomorrow, bc I still do plug in my start day in FF.

We’ve already found out that everything is great on DH’s end, and I plan to start fertility tests in April…so in the meantime, I’ve focused on my job and finishing projects around the house.

Okay, I lied.  TWW sucks!  I tested today at 7 dpo even though I know better, but it’s my birthday so I thought it would be cool if by some miracle I had a positive.  Shocking BFN. πŸ™‚

Any updates?
