@miss hellas:   How EXCITING!!!!!  Hopefully he doesn’t make you wait too long for a proposal.

No matter what, don’t peek.  Let him have his moment when he finally does propose.  You will be so surprised, and it will make him feel great and the moment that much more special!!!

That’s very exciting! Laughing But I think I would suggest to stop peeking and TRY to pretend that you had no idea and stop stop looking for it. I had no idea when he proposed (I had no idea he had the ring) and I think it was REALLY surprising.. P.S. just a hint, when I finally asked him how long he had had the ring and where he hid it, he said at work! Yes, at his office. So maybe yours is not at all home Wink

LOL I feel ya.  SO and I don’t live together, but I know he has it.  Some days it is shear torture, most days I handle it pretty well.  Good luck to you though!  It’s very exciting!

@miss hellas: DITTO! To your post title. I agree with other bees to stop peeking. I know it’s hard but TRY. My SO has had the ring for 5 weeks (today) and I’m dying because it seems like he’s dragging his feet still to propose. He says little things like he’s trying to plan or pay for something (regarding the proposal–although he won’t use the ‘p’ word). And I don’t want to take that away from him. So I’m TRYING to be patient but it’s HARD! I just don’t understand why the proposal causes for a big HOOP-LA when I don’t really want that but I think he thinks that I do. But just because I don’t want it doesn’t mean that he doesn’t for himself to be proud of his proposal. Uggghhh I just hate it!

Really no words for you but just know that I’m right there with you and it’s killing me as well. Fingers crossed that our SO’s propose soon! Good Luck!!!

Stop looking and let him have his moment.  You already know he has it and you probably even gave him some pretty strong hints about what styles you like.  Do you know what I would give to know that my SO even bought a ring???  The worst part is over.  Now just wait and let this ONE thing be a surprise.

Are you sure it is in the house? Because if I was hiding something and I knew my SO would most likely find it I would keep it at someone else’s house…

You know he has it. You know you will be engaged, then married some day. Do not spoil it by searching for your ring! You will have a whole lifetime to wear it and look at it!

Update us when he surprises you with it πŸ˜‰ x

I know mine wont ever be in the house SO doesnt keep any of my gifts here he always keeps them locked in his desk at work. I do know when he will be buying it (well not the exact day but around what day it will be) so I am sure I will start going crazy looking for box shapes in his pockets when he comes home lol
