Aww tben, hopefully this brings you bling peace-atleast for now lol how exciting to be getting a new ring, rings are my weakness. I’ve been windowshopping but that’s all I can really do now, we are finally in contract for a house after 10+ grueling months hunting. I’ve been following your journey to jewelry nirvana and living through you since I can’t get anything new for a while lol can’t wait to see more pics soon 😊

(I think the pear suited your hand really well, too, by the way.) I was thinking you had a round in your setting before — am I wrong about that? Either way, your new stone will be beautiful in your setting.
I understand the nervousness of trying out a new stone shape. I am working on an idea for a 20th anniversary ring, and I might have found the stone for it last night. I won’t know for sure until I see it in person, but I am hopeful. I have always had round stones, though, and the stone I purchased is an oval. It’s just one more thing that is making me feel anxious about whether or not it is “the one” — ha, ha!
I cant wait to see your new beauty, all finished!
Not a diamond, but I’ve been giving my London Blue solitaire a lot of love over the past couple of weeks.

Here is my tripple ex JA. I love my ring and the shine like crazy. I work with hands with my job so I knew I wanted ring setting low profile and little over a 1.0 but really looks bigger than actual size.

I can’t wait to see your new ring! I’m sure it’ll be beautiful. I’m still in love with my emerald cut that I finally went for this spring, but the jeweler I bought her from now has a 1ct. marquise solitaire that’s tempting me like crazy. Marquises are my original love.

But I do pray and think this one is the one. I have been in your shoes but never have had to wait 10 months for anything like a HOME so my hats off to you. I am very excited for you. The ring(s) will come 🙂 and let me tell you I do NOT come out of pocket much with each “trading” lol. I suppose if I had some big buck to spend my journey would have ended a long time ago. I will def post pics of it as soon as it I have it in my grubby little paws. I hope your house becomes a home asap, much deserved 🙂 xoxo

I know I know switching shapes can be terrifying especially if you’re partial to a certain shape. Which I didn’t know I was until recently. I love ovals though. missashley18 : Your ring is exactly what I always envisioned having my whole life up until I went to get a ring and they didn’t have what I was looking for and my husband talked me into a round but the setting was the same as yours only rounds. Then finally I got my princess cuts with a setting a few years back that had double row of princess cuts, I love the classic style, simple but sleek LOVE IT. Let me see if I can find a pic of it. It reminds me of yours. I would have kept that setting for a long time but it had bad memories for me and I needed a fresh start 🙂
