I really like mine, I have a pair in Camel and bought them a few years (and price increases) ago. If there are brands of comfortable (cheaper) flats that you’ve already tried and are happy with, then I don’t know that they’re WORTH it, really.

But for me, I struggled like no other to find flats that would work w/my feet, and these do, so I’d repurchase (although I myself would stick to the $175 tier). I’ve also wanted to try out Tory Burch Revas since I think they’re adorbs.

Don’t have my own yet, have friends that do that swear by them. I want purple, green, and basic black!

taylorturtle:

I don’t have Tieks but I will say this: I will spend whatever I can to obtain the most comfort possible.

I’d go for a pair of Birkenstocks or Mephistos long before I bought Tieks, but, I’ve paid full price on my sandals and they are worth every penny!

I have a few pairs and they’re pretty much the only shoes I ever wear these days. I had zero luck with other ballet flats  (Revas killed my feet) but Tieks have really worked out well for me. They’re super comfortable, so if I know I’m going to be on my feet all day (which is most days) I reach for my Tieks. I’m definitely wearing them for my big day – Tiek Blue for me and navy blue for my bridesmaids! If you’re on the fence, I definitely recommend giving them a try. They have a really good return policy, but you’re probably going to love them.

I love my Tieks and honestly don’t know what I’d do without them, now.  They are truly the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever had – I can walk for hours and hours and my feet won’t hurt like they otherwise would.  Plus, they are so cute and come in so many shades!  Does anyone know if they still do a coupon for 20% around the holidays?  I heard that they do, but I just found them this past Spring, so don’t know that the coupon thing is still happening….

Honu_36:  the only discount/promo I’ve ever seen them offer in the past several years of being on their email list has been an offer they gave to Stanford alums (the founder is a proud Stanford alum) when we went to the Rose Bowl in 2013 and 2014. They offered us a hefty discount each time on the ruby red patent or cardinal red ones to celebrate.

I may have overlooked something since I don’t pay super close attention, but pretty sure any types of discounts from them are very, very rare.

TheGridMonster:  Bummer!  But thank you for the information! You mentioned in your previous post that you have the Camel – do you find that a more versatile or flattering color than the Chestnut?

taylorturtle:  I don’t own a pair of tieks but I do have a pair of ecco flats ($100) and they’ve lasted me 3 years so far and still look great. They have awesome support, I’ve only had to replace the insoles. I highly recommend those and they are definitely worth the price.

I bought my first pair a few months ago and I think they’re worth it if you find yourself going through a lot of ballet flats. They’re definitely comfier and look better than the Tory burch ones IMO.

Anyone have flat feet and Tieks? Hate to spend $175 and find out they have high arches!

I like them. I plan on getting another pair for my wedding shoes, but haven’t decided on the color!

wvkc:  They don’t have any arch support – they mold to your feet to be the most comfortable for  you.  I have very high arches, but they don’t bother me even without the support – they are just supremely comfortable for hours on end!  Try them – I think you’ll love them!  Buy a pair and try them on around your house; if you don’t wear them outside, you can return them for a full refund.

TheGridMonster:  I remember that discount! I still wasn’t willing to go for it! I’m cheap when it comes to my shoes.. but maybe this year? 🙂
