@FutureMrsFord1087: in my opinion, you do NOT have to get the band from T&Co. You can mix and match the band from whereever you want it from!

You can get a band from wherever you want. Just find one you like and don’t focus on the name.

the diamonds are not any better if they are from Tiffany’s. I think you pay for the design along with the name. I would love a Tiffany (that may have sounded rude), but I think that you would def. not need to match. I like to own unique things, so I would look for something that not everyone else with that ring would have.

I agree with napabridekelsey.  You could get an identical band to the Tiffany band somewhere else for a lot less (and it will certainly not be crap just because it doesn’t have an expensive name on it Wink).

Since you don’t seem to really care if the band says Tiffany or not and since you’re going to be the one wearing it for the rest of your life, I don’t see why you’d spend extra money on the Tiffany band.

Agree with PP’s- you can get a very similar band in look AND quality elsewhere for much less. Not being Tiffany doesn’t = crap.

I might be the only odd one out, but I would go with the Tiffany band. I have a DeBeer e-ring and would go for the DeBeer wedding band. Guess, I’m a matchy matchy person.

@FutureMrsFord1087:  I think it honestly depends on your personality.  I’m super OCD about things matching/patterns/balance (I’m weird lol) and for the pure reason that I wanted the rings to match to a T, I went with the band that came along with my ring.

P.S. I love your ring!!!  It’s absolutely gorgeous 🙂

I have a Tiffany e-ring and I chose to go with a Tiffany wedding band. Like you, my e-ring has diamonds on the band. I tried on non-tiffany wedding bands and found it really difficult to find one that matched, or even complimented, my e-ring. They all looked mismatched. If you go with Tiffany you can get a wedding band that was made to go with your e-ring so they look perfect together. The other option is to get a plain band with no diamonds in it. That way matching wouldn’t be an issue.

Gorgeous ring first of all, and I am sort of trying to figure the same thing out. Fiance got me a Tacori e-ring and I am trying to figure out if I should get one of their bands too. So far, none of the non-Tacori bands have looked right but I think the best thing is to try on your options. I’m leaning towards just getting a matching one from because like you, that’s what my Fiance wants. He worked hard to get me the ring I have and he wants to get a band of the same standard. We’ll see!

Ps. Wooo 1000th post!

Yay, we’re ring buddies!  Well, sort of…  I LOVED that ring from Tiffanys but we already had a diamond, so my fiance had a replica made.  Congratulations, it looks gorgeous on you!!!

Metal and stones are metal and stones, no matter how much the company upcharges to pay for their advertising and branding.

Go with the cheaper band. Your retirement account will thank you.

My e-ring was Birks and I went to Briks for my band too. That was only becuase they were one of the only stores that rest assured me diamonds were purchased through the Kimberly process. Non conflict was my biggest concern.
