No, never! That is a horrible idea. A band is a must. : (53 votes)

I think this post morphed into something else.. doesn’t sound like you’re asking for advice or votes anymore?

Fwiw, I think your ring looks too small, so it looks even smaller and more “squooshed” onto your finger with a band. So I don’t really like how they look on you either – but it’s not your hands or the ring! It (imho) just looks just like they’re too small. So to me they lost the bit of elegance the simplicity of that style has to offer. Have your tried going up a size and see if it’s more appealing and comfortable that way? Just my two cents. Sorry if I missed a million updates! I only have the best intentions here. Everyone should have more sparkles – not less ๐Ÿ™‚

tbenjamin4884 :  ohh I get where you’re coming from now. That’s what I get for responding before my coffee!

i can sort of relate. I often wear my solitaire all by itself too. Reasons? It’s a forever brilliant moissanite. I think on its own it looks white. Paired with diamonds or CZ? Lord no. At least not in all lighting. All of the diamond bands I have look too white against it. Ugh. So I’ll often wear bands without stones (like in my thumbnail). I also have a pretty yellow gold yellow stone eternity ring I wear with it. The contrast is beautiful! I need to find a rose gold pink stone eternity band next.

One day I’ll upgrade my ring to one of the fancy colorless moissanite stones. One day.. lol. I’ll post pics if that would help? ๐Ÿ™‚ But just wanted to reassure you – I wear a solitaire and have been married for years. I don’t care if people don’t “see” me as married. Or if it looks weird. I just do what I’m comfortable and happy with ๐Ÿ™‚

tbenjamin4884 :  I’m sorry I’m so late posting but I’ve been too busy to be on the bee the last few days. Here’s the bling fix I promised!

Rose gold tiffany solitaire replica. 8mm unbranded certified h&a stone from moissanite co. h color vvs2. This is with and without the band even though I alternate many bands.

Tiffany replica soleste replica by moissanite co. 6.5mm forever brilliant cushion. I’m thinking of replacing the center with an antique cushion center. This was my 5yr anniversary gift.

My original wedding set. 1/2 caratish emerald cut in a halo. I still have it because I’m sentimental like that๐Ÿ˜

tbenjamin4884 :  Thanks and I am a size 7. 8mm is a 2ct equivalent and the gap is caused by the doughnut at the base of the head of the ring, this ring very much like the original Tiffany&co will not allow a band to sit totally flush but it comes very close and the bands are knife edge. I love how the rose gold is almost monochromatic in my skin so the stone seems to almost gloat. If I do change the stone in the soleste I may make a pendant or bezel it diamondsby the yard style. When i wear this ring I wear it alone mostly cause I never could find a band that pleases me with how it looks completely. My original set is from when halos had just regained popularity add so it’s more chunky and less refined than today’s micro fine pave halos. I love and wear them all, I would like to say equally depending on my mood, what I’m doing that day,and sometimes even according to what I wear or where im going.
