- Wedding: December 2013
We are having our wedding ceremony & reception at the same venue. The area that the ceremony is in over looks a lake, with beautiful floor to ceiling windows. We love it, but it has limited seating. It only allows for 65 seats, and they’re individual chairs. We will have just enough seats for everyone coming (with small kids on parents laps).
We were wondering if the usher should be prepped to say something to guests as they are being seated, so no one does the “skip a seat” manuever.
Thinking something to the effect of: “The wedding is rather intimate, so seating is limited. Please sit at the end of the row, and use every chair.”
What do you think? I don’t want anyone to be left standing in the back, or have to split up people who came together. HELP!
