I am looking for a reference for how my tight ‘va-va voom’ wedding dress is going to look with a long veil.
I tried googling some things but I can’t seem to find what I’m looking for.
So any pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I want to see pictures too!!!
I’m wearing a tight dress (mermaid style or maybe it’s q fit and flare.. I can’t tell) and will be wearing a SUPER long custom made cathedral veil. I didn’t realize just how long it was until I was telling my future sister in law. It came in 3 meters but I wanted something longer… OMG so the lady said 5 meters and I said yeah!! I also requested one tier instead of 2.
MY future SIL starts telling me “that’s a lot of feet”. We looked it up and it’s 16 feet. ๐ณ We couldn’t stop laughing.
I guess I think I’m Kate Middleton? Yaaaaasssssssss.

chrissybee : Though my veil was more chapel length (down to the ground), here it is with my very fitted dress:

chrissybee : I prob should have looked up 3 meters in feet, which is 9… That probably would had been plenty but “3 meters” just didn’t sound as wow as “5 meters” lol.
My dress doesn’t have a very long train which I had wanted so bad so I wanted a longer veil.. but man! I’m only wearing it for ceremony obviously, so we shall see.
I told my fiancé and he was like, who’s going to carry that around? ๐

chrissybee : I’ve always dreamed of wearing a long veil. I didn’t care what the dress looked like LOL. However during my first dress fitting, Future Mother-In-Law convinced me that I didn’t want a long veil to cover the back of my dress. I was also wearing a tight, fit & flare/mermaid style dress with lots of drama at the bottom. I guess I agreed with her and the short veil was cute.
I ended up not buying a dress that day and when I did Future Mother-In-Law wasn’t with me. I still chose a fit & flare but the bridal consultant put me in this GORGEOUS long veil. It still looked amazing with the dress. So in the end, I’m getting what I really wanted!
I don’t know how long it’ll be in the end since I just ordered everything a month ago but even standing on the pedestol at the bridal shop, it was longer than the train of my dress. chrissybee : This is the only pic I have on this computer that’s full length. I LOVED having a cathedral length veil and a form fitting dress.

I loved my long veil and tight dress combo! And it was a last minute switch (like 2 days before the wedding) from a fingertrip to a cathedral veil ๐

I have a form fitting dress and a huge veil I found at a thrift store for $2.50. I’ll try to sneak a pic later when my fiance goes to the movies lol

Not sure if mine qualifies for tight although it felt it to me (fit n flare). I’m in love with my 2 tier Swarovski crystal cathedral veil. We even ordered it with another 6 inches added so it really went past my train nicely.

(This was before we added extra length/crystals to the veil.
