My cousin had his there! In Chicago, though.  Anyway, it was lovely…I was 18 so I don’t remember how long the reception was.  Can you ask if you can pay for an extra hour or two?

YUM!! Can I come?!? That place is delicious and I love the buildings they are usually in! I hope you get some answers!

My ENTIRE wedding is 4 HOURS so I know what you mean about worrying about time!

I’m having my reception there but in Chicago.  I have the bar and the rooms for 6 hours (from 6pm to midnight).  However, the bar is only open for a total of 4 hours.  It’s open during cocktail hour.  Dinner is from 7-8:30 so the bar is closed but you get wine service during that time.   The bar opens up after dinner and last call is at 11:30.  Are you sure they aren’t just talking about the 4 hour bar time like mine?

Hmm. . .I’m actually surprised by all of this as I guess I just assumed it would be the same at all locations!  This is exactly how it was described to me by my contact there.  In fact, I just looked at my contract to make sure I wasn’t mistaken!!!  But yes, it says from 6-12.  Phew.  I would definitely talk to your contact again to see what they say.  I love Maggiano’s and it was the only place I seriously considered due to their awesome prices and the fact that they do EVERYTHING for you.  PM me if you have any more questions.

Another thing, if they didn’t tell you this already, if you do have your reception there, make sure you’re enrolled in their reward system.  I think you get like $20 for every $325 or so you spend.  Basically, we’ll be getting back over $1k just for having our reception there.  It’s worth it!

I’ve been to several weddings/banquets at the Chicago location and suburbs. The food was some of the best I’ve had at weddings!

If I were to have gone the banquet hall route they would have been at the top of my list.
