I’m having a beach wedding in NJ on the 24th and the light is really harsh on the East Coast in July so we’re doing a 5:30 cocktail hour, a 6:30 ceremony and reception until 10:30 – 11pm.

It will be hot no matter what time you decide, unless you want to do it in the evening when the sun goes down (which since it is outside I’m thinking you really don’t want to do that). There may be a couple of degrees difference between the early and late afternoon, but you won’t really feel it.

I’m actually getting married the same day, just a little farther south! I’ve just accepted that it will be hot because it is July. If I wanted a comfy outside temperature I would get married in April or May.

The only outside I’m going to be doing is for pictures. I’m trying very hard to not think too much about the weather. I keep telling myself I can’t control it, even if my dad is a meterologist!
