Are you on birth control? I use NuvaRing and am planning to skip my period that month by just inserting a new ring early. I’m scheduled to have my period about a week before the wedding, but I tend to break out and gain a little weight during that time of the month, so I’m just going to skip it.

i was on BC at the time too (not anymore) and i chose to skip it – but if thats not an option my only worry would be leaking- super plus and some panty liners and you should be fine. now for the wedding night, thats between you and your hubby 😉 put a towel under you- haha! (sorry if thats TMI)

I didn’t even think of that, now I’m going to have to take a look at the calendar when I get home!

I have had friends where their big day was on the day of their monthly visitor. They have had doctors give them birth control pills for a few days leading up to and that day so it didnt get in the way of the wedding lol

I was going to start a couple days before or wedding. I have been off my BCP for awhile but still have the prescription. So I started a pack when I started feeling PMS and it held it off for a little while but I did have some spotting, but atleast it wasn’t full blown.

@vabride2011:That’s so going to be me! My cycle is typically 28-35 days. If my body decides to be on the 28-day, I am due within a day or two. If not, oh lawdy….it’s probably going to be around the wedding.

I can’t even imagine how I would change a tampon while wearing my wedding dress!?!?!

I was stressing out A LOT about this because mine is pretty irregular and I’m not on BC. Luckily, it came over the weekend so it will be gone by this weekend!! If this wasn’t the case, Fiance and I would have made up for it later 🙂

I had mine half way throught the honeymoon. NOW that was worse than having it on the big day!
