Okay so my wedding is exactly 3 months away (deep breath) and I have a TON of DIY ideas and plans and now I am thinking to myself that there is no way I am going to get it all done and maintain some facad of sanity at the same time. So it is time to look at the list and figure out what NEEDS to be done, what I REALLY WANT done, and what sadly needs to be DUMPED off the crazy bridal brain train.
Which projects did you decide not to do/regretted spending the time, energy and money on?

I decided to cut out making big fancy favors. Although I may make the “mint to be” match books… but still favors were something I cut.
I also planned on making wedding pomanders for the aisle and cut them as well because taking a mason jar and filling it with roses was MUCH EASIER. and looked amazing.
I also cut out Out of Town bags… mainly because they are costly but also because we already were feeding our guests Fri-Sun so I have spent enough on them. 🙂
I think projects that you can do on your comp and then print/cut/add small details (ribbon or stamps) are easy and you can definitely do while watching tv. I am finishing up some centerpieces that involve paper flowers (which are a pain to make) but I work on them every night for 30min-hour and it gets one centerpiece (50 flowers) done in a week.
Honestly, it just depends on what kinds of projects you have and the time you can devote to them. Also, make a list and don’t add anything else! I got on this site and saw EVERYTHING ppl were doing and made my list grow grow grow… so you have to be careful of that.
