Hi leigh24! Welcome to the hive!

I think that if you pass the hors’d right away, some people might think that dinner is coming later. So I think that you might want to be announced, do your first dance, and then start in on the toasts as the hors’d are being passed. Then, maybe go into your father/daughter and mother/son dances if you are going to those– and then get your bridal party to help you start the party right after that, by getting everyone to start dancing. Then your candy buffet and cake could come out towards the end.
