We did a lunch reception ๐Ÿ™‚  Our lunch was served a bit late for it to be a typical lunch, but we wanted a full meal and not just appetizers…

Wedding ceremony started promptly at 1pm.  We were done by 1:30 (processional, ceremony, recessional) and our guests went upstairs for cocktail hour while we did photos.  We did grandparents, then parents, so they could join the other guests and mingle.  We spent the next 45ish minutes doing wedding party shots, group photos, silly photos, etc.

We had our entrance and first dance by 2:30, lunch was served by 2:45, we did our table-to-table visits while guests were served/ate lunch.  I don’t remember the order of everything else, but we had the parents’ dances, speaches, cake cutting, bouquet/garter tosses and still had time for socializing and dancing.  Things wrapped up by abot 6:30/7pm.
