A lot of other posts have convinced me that Crest White Strips are the best! So I’m going to use them before the wedding.
My question is about timing: I am about 9 weeks away from my wedding. If I do it right now, will it fade before the wedding? Or do you recommend I do it for the 2 weeks immediately before the wedding?
I kinda want to “Test” them now — in case they don’t work or hurt — so that I can move onto a plan B. Is it too much to do them now AND in 2 months?
I’m sure the product has instructions I could refer to, but I’m wondering what everyone else’s plan is. Thanks!!!

I’ve been kind of doing them here and there because my gums get uuber sensitive! I’d try using something like sensodyne for a week before you start using them.
You may need more than one pack of white strips to get the shade you desire (and depends on how white your teeth are now/ if you’re a coffee or red wine drinker/smoker yadda yadda)
I’d say try doing the strips maybe every other day and see how your gums tolerate it. That might determine how long you’ll need to start before the wedding! Good luck!

My wedding is 4 weeks away and I am starting white strips today. However they arent crest and i dont know how long crest take. These white strips are 3 day strips and then 7 if you need more whitening. I am going to do them for a week and then again 2 weeks before the wedding. I have no idea how quickly they fade!

I’m doing mine now (a week and a half before my wedding)… but I have done them before, so I already knew how my teeth would react to them. They make my teeth a little sensitive, but not so bad that I have to stop using them fortunately.

Do these work? I’m considering it. I’m a redhead and redheads naturally have yellower teeth, so its never bothered me that much. But I don’t know the whole wedding thing is making me a little self-conscious so maybe I’ll give it a whirl.

I use Crest White Strips (the regular 2 week kind). I always get sensitive gums as well.
I’d suggest the following (there are 28 sets in the regular kit):
Do one set per for the first week, then 2 sets for the following week, then for the remaining 7 weeks do 3 sets per week, alternating days (like Mon, Wed, Fri of each week). I think it’s good to skip days so you don’t irritate your skin. Also if it does get irritated take 3 or 4 days off and then come back to it.
They work amazingly well. I use two a month now for routine maintence.
