We’re planning on having a family brunch before the wedding, and doing the pre-ceremony photoshoot thing with the families and wedding party… so does that need to be reflected in their invitations? Do I need a separate invite for them? Or can I just send them a regular invitation and let them know in person or over the phone that they should be there for noon for brunch then photos when the ceremony will start at 4pm?

I wouldn’t include it on their invitations, but maybe include a separate little insert with those details with their invitation. That way it saves you the trouble of letting them all know individually, and they have the info right there to reference. If the insert matches the invitations, great. Otherwise, just having it typed in a similar font on nice cardstock would do the trick. Sounds fun!

Agree with susnhine809 to add in an insert. I’d also do a follow up call to explain what’s going to happen. If you’re considering using a website, check out AppyCouple as they’re one of the only sites that allows you to make multiple events that can be private for some and available for others.
