    It’s really up to you.  From how you described it, it seems like it would be a nice gesture to invite them, but that no one would be offended if you didn’t.  If you have space to include them (and their guests), then I’d go for it.  If not, I wouldn’t be too upset over it.

    Would you call them up to talk about something not work related? If you stopped working there, would you remain friends with them?

    I voted no.

    If you have the room in your budget and venue, it may be a nice gesture, but I don’t think you have to invite them. I would certainly NOT send a STD. If they left the company between now and your wedding, that would probably take them off the list, but you would have to invite them if you sent a STD.

    @laceydoilies:  I think it’s personal preference. I also work in a very small office (about 4-5 other people) and I’m not inviting anybody. The only time I see them outside of work are at work functions, like a Christmas party at the boss’ house.
