I didn’t realize this when signing up for everything, but thankfully I’m switching to a new account with my new last name once we’re married, so it works out anyway 🙂

incognitogirl:  Yup. I did the same thing thanks to suggestions here when I first got engaged! And thank goodness I did! I emailed a guy who does decorations for my venue and I guess he’s not the most internet savvy person because in the space of 20 minutes he sent me like 50 individual emails each with one picture of my venue decorated by him and his staff. I think my phone would have run out of battery from just the notifications if all that had come to my regular address!

incognitogirl:  I did this the week we got engaged thanks to Pinterest and I have said “thank God I did that!” at least 10 times, out loud, since then.

incognitogirl:  I wish I had known this a couple months ago! I’ve signed up for like one or two sites and I am getting SO much junk. I think I spend 10 minutes a day unsubscribing.

Also- I think the knot is jumping the gun by adding me to “the bump” mailing list :-/

I second that!!! we started one as soon as we found the venue – after our inboxes had been flooded! Lol

I signed up for wedding stuff (and now house stuff) under a email address I made for my fiancé and I. We will both keep our individual email addresses after we get married (he needs his for work and mine for like everything haha) but at least it keeps things from getting cluttered now. Then after the wedding, I can just unsubscribe from everything 🙂
