I had a close friend of mine do our wedding cake (she owns a bakery) and I am planning on giving her a $100 tip in the next few weeks along with the thank you cards that we send out.

Obviously with normal vendors tipping is just part of etiquette, but with friendors it’s all up to you. However, I would recommend it with how much he is helping you out. 🙂 I think some cash and a bottle of wine would be the perfect way to go!

Good question. My friend is our DJ – most DJ’s wanted over $500, he is charging us $250.  Was also curious as to what to tip.
