I don’t think it’s necessary to tip, whether at the trial or on your wedding day.. I know in salons people usually do tip the stylist after, but it should be completely up to you. If you like her work and want to, then I’m sure she’ll be very happy that you did. But don’t feel obligated to, as a makeup artist & hair stylist myself I never expect tips from clients (: Good luck!

Even if its not expected I plan to tip. I tip when I get my hair done normally or when I get a massage or my nails done. There are certain things I would feel uncomfortable NOT tipping on. I have always tipped when getting my hair done as a bridesmaid and would find it odd not to for my wedding trials. PLUS I don’t want to piss off the stylist before my wedding just in case she IS expecting a tip!

I would tip. I always tip for these types of services. I got my makeup done for e-pics and I tipped.

I tipped the same amount I always tip my stylist: 20-25%. I like to keep her happy 😉

I would definitely tip her if you plan on hiring her, you dont want someone with a bone to pick doing your hair on your wedding day.
