I normally won’t tip for sole business owners as all profits go to them, but I am tipping 15% for my wedding as they are serving so many people at one time (as mine is also doing bridesmaids, MOB and FMIL).

If I were you I would only tip 10% on the actual day as you are also paying for the travel fee’s, but I would not be tipping for the trial as I think that’s too much.

akshali2000 :  oh my god, weddings cost enough without tipping everyone!! I only tip 15% at restaurants if everything was fantastic and I felt the waiters gave extra effort in their service. Must be a US thing!

I probably wouldn’t tip her if she is the business owner. She sets her prices at what she believes is fair and takes home all the money. This isn’t like a woman working for a salon who has no control over pricing and pay.

akshali2000 :  I think she is being really cheeky about it all, if you feel that she is already over charging you I would definitely not be paying an extra tip!

She’s the business owner and she sets the prices.  No tip necessary since she gets it all.

I had 2 hair/MUA, they co-own the company. I tipped them each $50… I want to say the total for my wedding party was $725-750.
