My hair/MUA owns her company and it’s just her, but there are enough of us getting hair/makeup done before the wedding that she is bringing a second stylist to do the bridesmaids. To the best of my knowledge, the second stylist doesn’t work directly for my hair/MUA, but joins her on bigger jobs.
According to an article I read about tipping for the wedding, it suggests tipping your hair/MUA roughly 20% of the total bill. My question is–how should I divide the tip? Do I tip both ladies on the full total (which seems like a lot) or do I tip for the services they provided based on my itemized bill (my hair/MUA is doing myself and my mom, whereas the other stylist is doing all 3 bridesmaids)? Or another configuration I haven’t thought of?
Thanks in advance for your wisdom, bees!
