Never.   I’ve never been tipped as a photographer for e-sessions.  I have a few times at the wedding by awesome clients, but that was on rare occasions.

Uh. I didn’t tip our photog for our wedding. We bought her a cute mug and a star bucks gift card but no tip.

I am not tipping my photog at all, because he owns his own business. However we are putting him and his lady up at a B&B because they are awesome and made some huge exceptions for us.

I have only been tipped a couple of times at engagement sessions.  It’s appreciated, but awkward.  I think in regardings to tipping in general for weddings or any sort of session, just buy prints.  The photographer will make some profit, and you will get something out of it.

Tipping does not have to be cash. Gitfs, reviews, and buying prints/albums/etc are a great way to give your photographer some love. 🙂 Buying products and/or a review are the best 2 tips ever.

Tipping is not required at all for photography. Its one of those things if they went above and beyond, gave stellar service etc you give “extra”. Save it for food/bar staff.
