Which vendors did you tip? The tip for the coordinator at our reception venue is already included in the price. We tipped our florist and will tip the hairdresser. I am wondering about the harpist and the photographer. The photographer owns the business, so is it necessary to tip her? What about her assistant? My harpist’s husband is going to be helping her move the harp from the church to the reception so she can play during the cocktail hour. Do we need to tip him?
Thanks for the help!

Hmmm…good question. You don’t need to tip the photographer, but if he/she does an absolutely amazing job or goes out of the way to accomplish something for you, then feel free. Are you having servers at your reception. Generally you need to include some gratuity when paying the waitstaff (include the tip with your payment to whoever is in charge of your servers, don’t tip them individually). Not so sure about the harpist or her hubby. I didn’t have live music at my wedding, but I did tip our dj since he did such a good job and put up with some of the scheduling insanity that went on.

I wouldn’t tip etiher the harpist or the photographer. If what comes with the package is they move the harp, I don’t think it’s necessary.
I supposed if they an exemplary job, you could, but I don’t think it’s obligatory. Maybe offer to pay for travel costs for both if its not part of the package?
