@honie309:  If you usually give 20 percent, then that would be $22 on $110. If you don’t feel that is enough, maybe up it to $30 or $40 depending on how generous you feel? I totally get what you mean – I have only one stylist I will use, and I have been “seeing” her for years now. I would pay $1,000 to avoid seeing someone else, lol.

@honie309:  My stylist is a looooooooong time (15+ years) friend of my BF, so he is amazing about getting me in when he’s book AND tends to ‘hook it up.’ Case in point: went in for a $300+ corrective color, left with and $85 bill. You bet your ass his tip was $100+!

In your case, I’d flip her $50-75 for coming in on her day off 🙂
