- Wedding: November 2012
Our wedding and reception is being held at a hotel. we are also having our rehearsal dinner at the same location the night before, mostly out of convience for out of town guests.
The hotel provides us with a coordinator who we have been working with since we booked our venue, 8 months ago. She is my one direct contact person. If I have any questions about the food, ceremony, rooms at the hotel etc, she is who i contact. we did our food tasting with her and have met with her about 5 times over the past 8 months. There have been a few times when i have thought of something to ask her so i have sent an email on a weekend thinking I’d hear back from her after the beginning of the week but she always quickly replies, even on the weekends. On the day of the wedding, she will oversee the cake delivery, flower delivery, ceremony setup, and reception setup, she’ll be there with us every step of the way.
While I know this is her job, its what she does, should we tip her? Taxes and gratuities for the venue are included in our total price. She has been absolutely wonderful and has been so reassuring to me throughout this whole process. If not a tip, what, if anything, would be an appropriate token as a small thank you?
