    @amani:  yes, you have to tip  for the trial.  Tip like you normally do when you are going to your hair salon.  15-20% is still the norm 🙂

    The caterer’s and waitstaff’s tips were included in their contract as service charges for us.  I tipped the hairstylist and the nail salon too, because those are people I would normally tip.  I didn’t tip anyone else.  We are poor, we already spent enough money on everything, or the people didn’t deserve a tip.

    you know, at the beginning of wedding planning i thought about tips, who would be tipped, how much, etc. now that i’m in the thick of it and have laid out all this money, i’m like–they need a tip??? i know, very insensitive of me–chalk it up to the draining budget. i’ll still tip, but i haven’t decided yet who and how much.
