Tip anyone who doesn’t own the company they’re working for. We distributed envelopes during the reception towards the end of the night.

What does it mean, who doesn’t own the company? Like photographers and videographers, they kinda do their thing. So it means they own the company and do not need a tip? We gave tips to everyone, including photographer/videographer, hair person, minister etc. We only didn’t give a tip to the flower lady, cuz she left (she worked right next door to the venue, so I thought I would go out after the reception). She helped us a lot, and was a nicest lady, and I still have the envelope for her. I don’t know if I should sent it to her.

@Fegele: If they own their own company all of the money you paid for their services goes directly to them, so you really don’t need to tip them on top of that. If they don’t own their own company (ie servers, bartenders, limo drivers, some photogs, florists etc), they don’t receive the full contracted amount, so a tip is expected.
