I know you are to tip everyone who does your hair, make-up, and nails.
But, I’m getting airbrush make up done from my fiance’s friends wife as our wedding present. So my question is do I have to tip because this is my wedding present?

I am not sure… but I am commenting because I am also curious about this situation 🙂

When I buy someone a gift like that, I usually include the tip in the amount. On the other hand, I don’t know if this is necessary or above and beyond.

Did she flat our say this is my wedding gift to you? If so, I say there is no need to tip her. Maybe a little thank you gift or note instead?
I totally read that wrong lol! she gifted you the airbrush makeup session – she isn’t doing it herself correct? if so I’d be prepared to tip but she should have included it when she purchased or pays for the gift.

I wouldn’t tip her, but I would bring a little thank you something…like a bottle of wine or a gift card to Starbucks just to show your appreciation.

She’s doing the make-up herself. She’s a make-up artist. So I give her a gift that day for her gift for my weddibg gift and mail a thank you card later when I mail the rest for the other wedding gifts?

@tnt1128: I don’t think the gift has to be big – like Nona99 said a bottle of wine would be a nice gesture or a small gift card just to say thanks.
