I have sort of ALWAYS had the same hair style.. for a while it was medium length and now I sort of have an asymmetrical bob with asymmetrical bangs.
the thing is my hair is sooo thick everyday I do the SAME thing with my hair.. its always just straightened with the straightening iron and thats it. =[
I want to start growing my hair out again but I just remember how boring my hair always was. Ive never been much of a girly girl so I dont have the talent to even make a pretty pony tail!!
anyone have any tips on how to deal with super thick hair..
btw I am hispanic, its poofy w some wave (starts out straight and about two inches down does some crazy wavey thing) so every time I wash it I have to blowdry and straighten it! Ive NEVER tried anything else for fear I wont do it right!

I have crazy thick hair (I am American Indian) and I get mine thinned out everytime I get my hair cut. My stylist does a really great job at thinning it out. But I still have as much hair in a pigtail as most people have on their whole head.
I pretty much rock the “super messy bun” look everyday. I rub some texturizing cream through it, then throw it up into a messy ponytail.
I also rarely if ever brush my hair. I feel like it makes it more poufy. I use a comb 1-2 times a week to prevent dreadlocks…haha.
To prevent the pouf I would use a moisturizing product. I use HealthySexyHair Soy Renewal.
Hope that helps!

I have really thick hair, too. Like, eveytime I go to a new stylist, they scream, “You have the thickest hair I’ve ever seen!” I get it layered like crazy. I’ve worn it at all different lengths, and I always had layers put in. Then they go and thin it out after the cut is done. Each of my hair appointments is well over an hour.
I’m currently wearing it in a bob, and I HAVE to go every 8 weeks to get it thinned out, or it looks awful. I don’t see myself maintaining a bob much longer 🙂

haha I hear the same thing and when I have died it (im a brunette and I die it black every now and then) they usually have to go and mix a second mixing of dye!
I guess sometimes I just see all these girls with long hair and they curl it or the next day its pin straight.. I feel so sloppy and I wonder if my husband notices and wonders why I never do anything diff. =[
