bump for the daytime bees
LOVE the insight! Thank you for sharing!!
@MissFireFlower: AH I wish you had posted this a few months ago! We did embossing on our invitations inside a pocket fold and on some of the invites, the embossing must have heated going through the machine and it second stamped on the other sides of the inserts etc… it was so disappointing! I’m sure this post will help SO many brides!
Awesome post!! 🙂
I honestly find this so interesting. I would love to take a tour of the post office and see how it works. For some reason the whole mail sorting process is really interesting to me and it amazes me how a tiny slip of paper can make it across the country in a few days!
This is great advice!
I was absolutely fascinated by this post.
Do ALL ‘plants’ pull black envelopes? If they do, that solves my problem as to where to tie black into our invitations!
This is an awesome post, thank you!!
I checked the postage rate with my local USPS office three times, I was so paranoid! lol
All the plants I’ve worked at have in my state usually do. When we are culling the bad mailfrom the good mail we use are experience to make a quick desicion. Thick envelope, not iN a stanndard size AND it’s black? People with experience are going to pull it out.
This was so so informative!! Thank you!!!
Thank you! Would a deep purple be pulled like the black envelope due to unreadability?
OP, thank you so much – this should be mandatory reading for all brides!! Fascinating!
Thanks so much OP! This was seriously an interesting post to read (:
